Following the 2012 London Boat Show we returned to our headquarters much to the delight of our staff! We are now picking up the pieces where we left off at the beginning of January 2012 and are pleased with the sales achieved at the show. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet our valued customers, old and new!

We had several customers taking advantage of our 'traditional quiet period' to bring in their liferafts for servicing. Most stayed to see their liferafts opened up and to follow through the servicing procedures with ourselves. All left reassured that they had taken the opportunity to refresh themselves of the many fine features of their Zodiac liferaft!

December 2011 also saw the completion of a Zodiac Futura Mk3 Alu pack easy cruising inflatable. The boat was fitted with a Suzuki DF60ATL including full engine instrumentation and supplied on an Indespension flat bunked trailer. The Zodiac Futura Mk3 Alu pack boat is 4.5 metres long and weighs only 116kg. The large buoyancy tubes have a diameter of 575mm and the boat has an amazing load carrying capability of 1280kg. The boat with engine fitted is exciting, very manoeuvrable and can do speeds in excess of 37mph!

The Suzuki DF60ATL engine features the Suzuki lean burn control system which enables the engine to operate on a lean air-fuel ratio or a thinner mixture of fuel. The system controls the air-to-fuel mixture by predicting fuel needs according to operating conditions. It delivers its benefits over a wide operating range providing significant improvements in fuel economy from low speed operation well up into the cruising range. The engine also features Suzuki's self adjusting timing chain. The chain is oil-bathed and features an automatic hydraulic tensioner that keeps the chain properly adjusted at all times for maintenance free operation.
